Synopsis[]
It was annoying to sit by the fire and look at the huge heap of stones. What had happened the night before was nothing like a usual rockslide: it was an explosion, it was definitely a dynamite blast! The workers heard my loud cry and turned. "It's time to go fetch some water for the camp."

Having approached the river, one of the workers and I heard a groan. We went down the river-bank and found the source of the sound. It was an old man, zonked and almost unconscious. We carried him to the camp. We abandoned the camp an hour later. By the time the sun went, we had already reached home.
