This one has had plenty to say. Usually negative, whether deserved or not. Seems to think that this is our job or something so everything should be perfect. No loss, I say. Sorry. That probably sounds mean.
THAT is the thing that throttles the game for everyone, after a certain level. It can also be a choke point here n there at other levels, too.
If you still have home or expedition stations available to clear, single chop grass. That gets the most worms.
If you've already cleared all stations, you get to raise mega pear tree groves.
There's a Fountain for Coins and a Fountain for Emeralds in the market. Both have recipes that produce a tuft of grass that you can place and then chop. The latter has the better recipe that's more sustainable. You'll notice that all the other recipes require grass to make grass - I did some testing and you do get more grass than you used to make it. (but the really great recipe uses cabbage and water - real easy stuff, and makes a 20 count tuft).
Lastly, I'm sad to say that I often have to resort to sacrificing my ostrich baskets (recipe in the Cottage) to make worms.
I stick all that stuff in storage at Arcane. I can't stand a bloated home storage, but I'm also a hoarder that never sells anything. Since storage isn't limited and doesn't cost any effort, I don't see a reason not to keep it, just in case ;)
